Stratford Cultural ForumÂ
Stratford Cultural Forum is a voluntary group representing the interests of Stratford based organisations with an interest in arts related programming, education, training and development. It is an independent body recognised by the London Borough of Newham and Stratford Renaissance Partnership.
The objectives of SCF are to:
- Promote Newham as a centre for the arts at regional, national and international levels;
- Increase local capacity in the arts and for locally based, arts-related programming, education, training and career development;
- Develop and animate the Stratford Cultural Quarter;
- Profile the range and quality of the collective contribution of member organisations to the arts in the area;
- Develop audiences, develop and introduce new work, and support local talent;
- Seek opportunities for additional funding to support the arts in Newham;
- Contribute to the regeneration of Stratford;
- Enhance the cultural offer of Stratford Town Centre;
- Support the promotion and marketing of Stratford as a great place to work, live and visit.
