Stratford and Lower Lea Valley Area Action Plan

The Stratford and Lower Lea Valley is an area which is undergoing major change. It includes areas that are already in the process of regeneration and renewal and much work is still to be done. Newham Council has produced an Issues and Options paper which is currently out on public consultation. The period of consultation will run from 18th July to 30th September 2008. For further information and to download the plan please visit the Council’s AAP webpage on where you can download the consultation document. The document is also available to read and comment on at libraries and Local Service Centres. Copies can be requested from ldf@newham.gov.uk or by telephoning 020 8430 4588.

Exhibitions

Newham Council are also holding a series of exhibitions across the area where you can see more details. Newham Council Planning staff will be available to assist with any enquiries.

The feedback from this consultation will help inform the development of a new version to be submitted to the Secretary of State later in the year and on which there will be further consultation.
