Masterplan for Metropolitan Stratford

In January 2010, the London Borough of Newham appointed Urban Innitiatives to develop a Masterplan for "Metropolitan Stratford".  The Masterplan will set out a clear direction for Stratford's development over the next 10-20 years, and a coherent plan for integrating Stratford City, the Olympic Park and the exiting town centre.  It will include:

• Proposals for the development of new homes, shops, leisure facilities, local services and business premises
• A transport study to develop proposals to create a much more pedestrian-friendly environment and improve connections between the town centre, Statford City and the Olympic site;
• A socio-economic strategy to ensure local people benefit from the opportunities being created;
• A delivery strategy
